Quiet Excellence: Inside BATONER’s Signature Knit

BATONER’s signature knit impressed me at first touch, and continued to reveal its quality after being worn throughout the winter season.

At first touch, it gave me a smooth yet substantial feel. It’s warm yet breathable. Designed for the transitional season, it offers comfort without heaviness, making it an ideal everyday layer before winter fully arrives.

The Signature Series represents the essence of BATONER. Crafted from the brand’s original **Solid Wool**, a refined worsted yarn rarely used in low-gauge knits, it challenges convention and results in a texture that feels both rare and unmistakably BATONER.

Rooted in the knitwear heritage of Yamagata and the craftsmanship of Okuyama Meriyasu, the design appears simple but rich in detail. Traditional knitting techniques, three-dimensional patterning, and meticulous linking construction come together to create a garment that moves naturally with the body.

Smooth against the skin, resistant to pilling(earning a 4.5 rating of 5), and subtly lustrous, this knit is made to be worn often and last for years. It is not defined by trends, but by enduring quality—precisely why we chose it for our store.
